"Our second release from this unique patch of ancient Tocai vines situated in the heart of our gravelly, rocky Cabernet block. This wine is not only a firm staff favorite but a wine that combines the refreshing drinkability of an aperitif with the requisite richness and subtlety to accompany most summer appetizers.
Light green/gold color. Immediate aromatic richness with ripe pear, wild flower and citrus blossom notes with the variety's telltale fennel/anise edge. Fresh lime and green apple intensity on the entry that opens and evolves to show great almond textural creaminess balanced by brisk, racy acidity and a subtle floral herbaceousness that is characteristic of this classic North East Italian variety. Serve at no cooler than 50 degrees to allow the wine's full character to emerge."
